How to add events
  1. To add events to this site, first you'll need to be logged in. If haven't made a login yet, you can do that here.
  2. Next, go to your workspace, by clicking on the "my folder" link at the upper left.
  3. Find the "add item" drop-down menu. Click to open the menu and select "event"
  4. Fill in as many fields as you can with the event information
  5. When you're all done, click the 'state' drop-down menu (at the upper right) and select 'submit'. Our moderators will soon review your event and approve it for display in the calendar. If you are a site moderator, you will be able to select 'publish' instead of 'submit'.

An avian biologist from Pt. Reyes Bird Observatory will introduce the avian sampling method for the fall surveys, do a practice area search with visitors, and take questions during and after.

Join Julian Wood, avian biologist from Pt. Reyes Bird Observatory, for an introduction to the avian sampling method for the Merced River Alliance surveys. A practice search of the area with visitors follows, and Julian Wood will answer questions throughout the morning. Directions: from Briceburg, go east on Hwy 140. About 2.4 miles past Indian Flat RV Park in Incline (El Portal area) turn left on Foresta Road. Cross the bridge over the Merced River and make a left hairpin turn onto Incline Road. Head downstream on the north side of the river on the one-lane paved road. Park at the Cranberry Gulch Launch Site.
