How to add events

To add events to this site, first you'll need to be logged in. If haven't made a login yet, you can do that here.
Next, go to your workspace, by clicking on the "my folder" link at the upper left.
Find the "add item" drop-down menu. Click to open the menu and select "event"
Fill in as many fields as you can with the event information
When you're all done, click the 'state' drop-down menu (at the upper right) and select 'submit'. Our moderators will soon review your event and approve it for display in the calendar. If you are a site moderator, you will be able to select 'publish' instead of 'submit'.

2 pm - 5 pm Bug Hostel (Midpines) Campfire Ring FREE

Artist and naturalist John Muir (Jack) Laws will share the process he used to create "The Laws Field Guide to the Sierra Nevada.” Jack will lead you through a series of activities and practices designed to inspire you to make your own outdoor observations and sketches in the Bug Hostel’s beautiful surroundings.

5 pm - 6 pm Bug Hostel Dining Room FREE

Join Jack Laws for a signing of his new book "The Laws Field Guide to the Sierra Nevada." The book will be available to purchase.

7 pm - 8:30 pm Midpines Community Hall FREE

Jack Laws will regale you with his witty observations of the Sierra Nevada. This slide program will teach you about the hidden secrets of our watershed. You will learn while you laugh during this remarkable presentation.
