To restore proper functioning condition in river and flood plain scaled to modified flow regime; implement near-term actions identified as immediate needs to improve salmon production; and further develop a long-term river corridor restoration plan that provides a greater understanding of river corridor impairment, and restoration needs and opportunities. Enhance community and stakeholder involvement in technical planning forums.






Figures provide graphic representation of the Merced River restoration project plans, project phases, restoration plan participants and their roles, and conceputal model of the physical and ecological linkages in alluvial river-floodplain systems.
