Lake McClure
Lake McClure is a large lake in western Mariposa County, California, about 40 miles east of Modesto. It is formed by New Exchequer Dam on the Merced River, a tributary of the San Joaquin River and its capacity is 1,032,000 acre-feet (1.273 km³).
Triple Divide Peak
In Sequoia National Park, the point where Kaweah Peaks Ridge intersects the Great Western Divide and the headwaters of four streams, Roaring River flows to the north, Kern-Kaweah River flows east, Big Arroyo flows to the south, and Lone Pine Creek flows to the west.
New Exchequer Dam
The 326 foot New Exchequer Dam was completed in 1926. It is located on the Merced River and forms Lake McClure. Please click the link below for a map of this location.
